Can anyone tell me if a BMW V8 will be compatible with Rolls Royce Silver Shadow?
Need to know if I replace an aging Rolls Royce Silver Cloud V8 that of a new BMW V8 found in the M3 or X5. Will it work, and I will perform better or worse? So is the cost of a new BMW V8 in the UK?
No, it will be compatible. The shadow has a Rolls-Royce designed V8 that pumps include high pressure system of the brakes. The engine BMW not and may not even fit into the available space. If you want your shadow Heep is probably better to rebuild the Rolls-Royce, a BMW if you want to get a BMW. Adaptation of a reciprocating engine to one of these cars is an important and costly engineering project and will virtually destroy the resale value, as these are now vintage cars.
